OTHER INFORMATION

1. I’d like to view the Elephant Quarterly but I don’t have Adobe Acrobat.

Please click the icon to download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. What does your logo mean?

The symbol of Ivan R. Dee, Publisher is an elephant. The elephant is known for its intelligence and our elephant is running in pursuit of knowledge. The elephant is not intended to align the house with a specific political party.

“Choosing elephants as a logo has no personal significance to Dee.... ‘I don’t keep elephants out back,’ he assures. ‘But elephants are wise. They last a long time. They’re the real kings of the jungle, I suppose.’”-John Allison, New York Post, April 9, 1989.

3. Are you an ideological house?

No. Our goal is to publish good books, whether from the left or the right.
